The 14 major allergens

UK law requires food businesses to tell customers if any of these are used: celery, cereals containing gluten (such as wheat, rye, barley and oats), crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulphur dioxide/sulphites.

‍ ‍

How we handle allergens

Our food is cooked fresh, to order, from a compact mobile kitchen. Because of this, and because we handle a wide range of ingredients in a small space, we can't guarantee any dish is completely free from traces of a particular allergen, even where it isn't a listed ingredient.

‍ ‍

Please tell us about any allergy or intolerance before you order. We'll always do our best to help you choose safely and tell you exactly what's in a dish. If you have a severe allergy, please speak to whoever's serving directly rather than relying on this page alone, our menu changes with the seasons, and speaking to us on the day gives you the most accurate answer.

Booking an event

If you're booking us for a wedding, private event or corporate catering, let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements in advance at hello@iroristreetfood.co.uk, so we can plan the menu with your guests in mind.
